Star-Studded Glastonbury Lineup
Glastonbury Festival has revealed its headliners for 2025, bringing together a mix of rock legends and contemporary pop stars. British band The 1975 will take the stage on Friday, followed by Canadian icon Neil Young on Saturday, and US singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo closing out Sunday’s show.
Young’s confirmation came after initial uncertainty. In January, he declined to perform due to concerns over the festival’s ties to the BBC, which holds broadcasting rights. At the time, he described the situation as “corporate control,” but later confirmed his spot after what he called an “error in the information received.”
Meanwhile, Sir Rod Stewart has been announced for the highly anticipated Sunday teatime legends slot, adding another music heavyweight to the lineup.
Glastonbury organizers have also confirmed that the festival will take a break in 2026, following its tradition of fallow years to allow the farmland to recover.
This announcement follows a star-studded 2024 edition, which saw Dua Lipa, Coldplay, and Sza headline the legendary Pyramid Stage. With a diverse lineup spanning generations and genres, Glastonbury 2025 is shaping up to be another unforgettable year.
