Born in Manhattan, New York, on November 19, 1945, Weinstein embarked on her remarkable journey in the world of filmmaking, starting humbly as an assistant film editor and later ascending to become one of Hollywood's most respected producers. Alongside her late husband, Mark Rosenberg, she co-founded Spring Creek Prods in 1989, a partnership that yielded a string of cinematic masterpieces including "The Fabulous Baker Boys," "Analyze This," and "The Perfect Storm."

Weinstein's artistic vision was matched only by her passion for championing underrepresented voices and advocating for social change. She shattered barriers in Hollywood, paving the way for future generations of women in the industry.
