New Horizons for Spencer
Spencer Matthews, widely recognized for his role on Made In Chelsea, has embarked on a fresh career path after stepping away from the podcast Spencer Vogue, which he co-hosted with his wife Vogue Williams. This decision marks a pivotal chapter in Matthews' professional journey.
The inspiration for his career shift came from a transformative experience last year when he completed 30 marathons in 30 days across the Jordanian desert. “Running through the Jordanian desert several months ago was a transformative and meaningful time in my life, during which I had a moment of clear realization,” Matthews shared in a heartfelt online post.
In light of this revelation, Matthews announced his departure not only from Spencer Vogue but also from his other long-running podcasts, Big Fish and 6 Degrees. His focus has now shifted to Untapped, a new podcast series exploring the endurance limits of the human body, featuring interviews with athletes, scientists, and thought leaders. Interestingly, Matthews will only appear in the inaugural episode of the series, allowing others to take the spotlight.
Earlier this month, Matthews revealed on Spencer Vogue that he was stepping down to pursue "other business interests and upcoming challenges." His wife Vogue’s sister, Amber Wilson, will step into his role as co-host, with the show being rebranded as Vogue Amber.
Meanwhile, Vogue Williams is set to take over hosting duties on the Channel 4 show Stacey Solomon’s Renovation, replacing Stacey Solomon. Williams expressed her excitement about the role: “Home renovation is a huge passion of mine, and I am excited to put my degrees in Construction and Quantity Surveying to the test!”
Spencer Matthews and Vogue Williams, who married in 2018 at Matthews’ family estate, share three children: Theodore, six, Gigi, four, and Otto, two. As they both embrace new professional challenges, they continue to navigate the worlds of showbiz and family life with determination and charm.
