Robin Johnstone is a Canadian professional ice dancer and founder.
She is a Professional Partner on ITV’s Dancing On Ice. She started skating at the age of two and decided to turn professional when she turned twenty. Robin has been a professional ice skater for 25 years. She initially worked with Toronto Ice Theater, Paramount Canada’s Wonderland, and Paramount Kings Island.
She has worked in Florida, United States as an Assistant Choreographer for Disney On Ice’s “Dare to Dream”. Robin has also been the principal pair on Bietak’s production of Broadway on Ice as well as had the pleasure of skating I’m in Italy at the Aren Du Verona for Intimissimi On Ice alongside Evgeni Plushenko, Stephane Lambiel, and Andrea Bocelli. From 2015 to 2017 she was principal pair with Holiday on Ice Believe and went on to join the very first Cirque du Soleil show on ice called Crystal from 2017 to 2019, where she was the first-ever ice skating coach with the Cirque du Soleil.
In 2019, Robin joined the new Cirque ice show Axel until she was laid off in March 2020 because of the COVID-19 Pandemic. The show later closed officially on June 29, 2020. In April 2020 she co-founded the Creative Athletic Performance, a unique agency specializing in coaching, casting, choreography, and consulting.
