Description
Spitalfields City Farm is the city farm closest to the square mile of the city and located on the territory of a former railway goods depot. The farm was founded in 1978 in response to the demand of local residents for land plots, ceding its rights to developers. Thanks to the long tradition of farming in the East End, chickens, rabbits and geese soon appeared on the scene.
The farm offers many opportunities for communication. Daily volunteering includes working with animals and helping in the garden. Schools from near and far abroad also come for one of the excursions here / seminars, which also offer individual courses and tours. The farm is a great place for parties for all ages.
