Zachary Cooper, also known as "Super Duper" Cooper, is an American musician that resides in St. Petersburg, Florida. He is currently the bassist for the progressive rock band Coheed and Cambria. Zach also lends his vocal talents as a back ground vocalist. In June of 2018, Zachary played the upright bass in Coheed and Cambria's performance with the NSO Pops for a celebration of NASA's 60th anniversary.
Zach was asked to join a band at the age of 12. His two best friends were learning guitar, so he was psyched to learn guitar too. His friends told him he had to play the bass cause they didn't need another guitar player.
Prior to joining Coheed and Cambria in 2012, Zach was the bassist for the band Am to AM in which one self-titled EP was recorded. Zach was a member of this band from 2009-2011. His final performance with AM to AM was on December 30th, 2011 in Woodstock, NY opening up for the band 3.
Zach's latest work with Coheed and Cambria is set to be released on October 5, 2018.
