Remembering Taylor Hawkins
The family of the Taylor Hawkins and rock band from America Foo Fighters, which includes members such as Dave Grohl, Nathan Gregor Mendel, Georg Albert Ruthenberg (Pat Smear), Christopher Aubrey Shiflett and Rami Jaffee have revealed all the details of a tribute concert in London in 2022.
A tribute concert to Taylor Hawkins will take place at London's Wembley Stadium on Sept. 3, followed by a tribute concert in Los Angeles at the Kia Forum arena on September 27.
As noted, the concert will be entirely dedicated to the life of Taylor Hawkins as well as his family. What's more, rock band Foo Fighters will play some of their favourite songs. It's worth noting that the concert participants will be announced at a later date.
The drummer's family is grateful to the global Foo Fighters community as well as Taylor fans for their support and love.
Taylor Hawkins (February 17, 1972-March 25, 2022) was the member of the American rock band the Foo Fighters, who was the drummer.
After leaving Sylvia, the drummer joined Sarah Jordan and then Alanis Nadine Morissette.
In 1996, the Foo Fighters recorded their second album with producer Gil Norton. However, drummer William Goldsmith left Foo Fighters due to a conflict with the band's founder Dave Grohl, and because of this conflict the band had to go to Los Angeles and re-record most of the album.
In 2007, at a Live Earth concert. The musician joined the supergroup SOS Allstars, performing with Roger Meddows Taylor and Chad Gaylord Smith.
Furthermore, Taylor Hawkins took part in the drumming on Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume Two: No World for Tomorrow by the band Coheed and Cambria, which includes the likes of Claudio Sanchez, Travis Stever, Josh Eric Eppard as well as Zachary Cooper.
As Taylor himself noted, Roger Meddows Taylor, James Beck Gordon, Philip David Charles Collins, Stewart Armstrong Copeland and Neil Ellwood Peart influenced his career.
