It looks like another Eurovision crown might slip through the UK’s fingers.

Despite TV legend Graham Norton suggesting Remember Monday have an “advantage”, the bookies aren’t feeling the same confidence. The country-pop trio dazzled fans during Thursday’s semi-final with their princess-core performance, but the numbers tell a different story.

Sweden is once again leading the charge. After Loreen’s win in 2023, they're on track to double down, with this year’s act KAJ and their song “Bara Bada Bastu” commanding 10/11 odds at William Hill.

Austria’s JJ follows at 11/4, with France rounding out the top three at 8/1. Meanwhile, the UK’s Remember Monday are floating down in murkier waters—joint 10th place with Malta at 50/1.

Not All Doom and Gloom

There’s a silver lining: we’re not at the bottom. That dubious honour belongs to Portugal, Armenia, and Lithuania — each stuck with bleak 200/1 odds. Just above them are Iceland, San Marino, and a few other long-shot nations.

No matter the scorecard, fans aren’t shy about showing their love for the UK’s act. One viewer wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “They really can sing live! Thank heavens.”

After a few rocky years from James Newman’s zero-point flop in 2021 to Sam Ryder’s near-win in 2022 — the UK’s Eurovision saga continues to be a rollercoaster. Last year saw Olly Alexander finishing 18th, while Mae Muller’s 25th place in 2023 was another low blow.

So, will Remember Monday turn the tide or fade into the scoreboard shuffle? Time (and televotes) will tell.
