Real Housewives’ Tangled Love
The cast of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” found themselves split over Alexis Bellino’s emerging relationship with John Janssen. The division deepened when Shannon Beador, John’s ex and Alexis’ co-star, disclosed that their love triangle had started to affect their gym routines. John had begun bringing Alexis, his new partner, to Shannon’s long-standing personal trainer.
Emily Simpson, another cast member, responded to the news during the July 25 episode of the Bravo series, saying, “That’s awkward. Why doesn’t he just find you a new personal trainer and move on?” This quote encapsulates the tension and awkwardness of the situation.
Shannon shared that the gym owner had even addressed the uncomfortable situation with John and Alexis. Alexis, in her defense, claimed to be a ‘good Christian girl,’ which was met with skepticism considering her open discussions about her intimate life with John.
Shannon referred back to the show’s July 18 episode, where Alexis boasted about her active sex life with John. The confrontation escalated with John vehemently denying any wrongdoing and accusing Shannon of instigating the drama.
Alexis, on her end, confided in Tamra Judge and Jennifer Pedranti, blaming Shannon for betraying her trust. She was adamant that Shannon was the only one who could have revealed details about a private luncheon where she discussed her sex life.
The situation took a turn when Alexis started training with Shannon’s ex and her trainer. Emily began to question Alexis’ intentions, comparing her actions to the plot of the 1992 psychological thriller, “Single White Female.”
Shannon concurred with Emily’s assessment, wondering if Alexis was attempting to replicate her life. She noted the similarities in their experiences, from dating the same man to frequenting the same places. The drama continues to unfold on “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” airing Thursdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
