Famous American rapper Kendrick Lamar Duckworth has announced dates for his 2022 UK tour. Tickets will go on sale at 10am on 20 May.
As noted, tour dates have been announced to coincide with the release of the rapper's fifth studio album, Mr. Morale and The Big Steppers. The album contains eighteen tracks, and the rap artist's album has received much praise from critics.
Kendrick Lamar Duckworth will kick off his tour on November 2nd at OVO Hydro in Glasgow, before heading to Leeds, Newcastle, Birmingham and Manchester. He will play two consecutive nights at London's O2 Arena on November 7 and then on November 8.
What's more, Kendrick Lamar Duckworth will also headline at this year's Glastonbury Festival. It's worth noting that this will be his first live performance in the UK since performing at Summer Sessions in Glasgow in 2018.
Kendrick Lamar Duckworth is an American rap artist and he takes his name after the famous singer Edward James Kendrick (Eddie Kendricks). Moreover, he has collaborated with such famous stars as Trevor George Smith Jr. (Busta Rhymes), Dwayne Michael Carter (Lil Wayne), Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. (Snoop Dogg), Jayceon Terrell Taylor (The Game).
Lamar was also on tour in 2010 with Aaron Dontez Yates (Tech N9ne) and Johnny Reed McKinzie Jr. (Jay Rock).
Moreover, Andre Romell Young (Dr. Dre), a famous American rapper and producer, noticed Lamar's music video for the track 'Ignorance Is Bliss' and Dr. Dre offered Lamar a collaboration.
In early 2011, XXL magazine, which is devoted to American hip-hop culture, listed Kendrick as one of the most notable rap newcomers of the year. Other artists on the list include Robert Rihmeek Williams (Meek Mill), Malcolm James McCormick (Mac Miller), Michael Wayne Atha (Yelawolf), Cydel Charles Young (Cyhi the Prynce), and Justin Lewis Scott (Big K.R.I.T.).
