Katie Price reignites Victoria Beckham feud over Dane Bowers split

Katie Reopens Beckham Feud

Katie Price has revisited her long-running feud with Victoria Beckham in her new Sky documentary, Katie Price: Nothing To Hide, claiming she was “banned” from joining Dane Bowers while he promoted Out of Your Mind with the former Spice Girl.

Price, 48, says she and Dane had been together for two years when his behaviour changed during the early 2000s campaign. She insists there was no romance between Dane and Victoria, who was already married to Manchester United star David Beckham, but says the situation left her feeling pushed aside.

“I was a nothing because it’s now Victoria, and Victoria and Victoria,” Katie says in the film.

The documentary also revisits another breaking point in Katie and Dane’s relationship: her glamour modelling career. Dane had reportedly grown uncomfortable with her topless shoots, prompting Katie to cover up for a period. But when she was offered a new calendar, she chose to go ahead.

Dane says he gave her an ultimatum: cancel the calendar and stay together, or release it and end the relationship. Katie proceeded, and Dane says he broke up with her when the images came out.

Katie and Dane dated from 1998 to 2000. During the relationship, Katie became pregnant and chose to have a termination.

Her latest comments add to years of public tension with Victoria. Katie previously claimed Victoria sang Who Let the Dogs Out? when she entered a Manchester Airport lounge in the Nineties. After the 2012 premiere of Viva Forever!, the Spice Girls musical written by Jennifer Saunders and produced by Judy Craymer, Katie also branded Victoria “Misery Spice.”

She later criticised Victoria’s polished working-mother image after a Harper’s Bazaar US interview, arguing in her Sun on Sunday column that the fashion designer’s routine likely depended on nannies and household staff.

The documentary frames the feud as part of Katie’s wider account of fame, relationships and control during her early career, but Victoria and Dane remain central to one of its most pointed chapters.
