Brooklyn Beckham’s Ad Fuels Rumors
Brooklyn Beckham has put himself back in the spotlight after taking part in a DoorDash campaign linked to the FIFA World Cup 2026. The short clip quickly caught attention online, as several details in the scene appeared to echo the ongoing tension between him, David Beckham and the rest of the famous family.
The 27-year-old Cloud23 founder previously made headlines in January when he said he did not want to repair his relationship with relatives after months of absence from family occasions. His latest commercial, released on Monday, now has fans studying every frame for possible hidden meaning.
In the video, Brooklyn is shown at home with a pile of unopened-looking letters on the table. Viewers connected the image to a recent episode involving his younger sister, Harper Beckham. The 14-year-old reportedly went to his Los Angeles house with a letter while she was in California for David’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony last Friday.
Brooklyn was not there with Nicola Peltz at the time. The couple had travelled to New York, where he attended the New York Food and Wine Festival. Soon after, their representative suggested Harper’s visit may have been arranged with photographers in mind.
Another object that raised eyebrows was a silver watch resting on the letters. Some fans saw it as a possible reference to the £120,000 Patek Philippe Nautilus David gave Brooklyn for his 21st birthday, an item Brooklyn once described as his favorite in a 2021 Esquire interview.
The clip also includes six football tickets beside the watch and letters. Brooklyn then tells the camera, “You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home. It's a long story.”
The football connection makes the timing even more pointed, given David’s England history and his Inter Miami role, which has linked him closely to Lionel Messi. Victoria Beckham also remains central to the family’s public image.
Whether the campaign was designed as a knowing reference or fans are simply reading it through the family fallout, Brooklyn’s latest appearance has added another layer to the Beckham drama.
