Coparents Take Center Stage
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are showing that their breakup hasn’t changed their commitment to family.
The former couple reunited in London on December 29, stepping out together to take their children—5-year-old Daisy and Bloom’s 14-year-old son, Flynn—to Paddington: The Musical at the Savoy Theatre in the West End. Bloom shares Flynn with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
Photos shared by the official Paddington Instagram account captured the blended family enjoying the night, with Perry and Bloom posing separately with cast members before joining Daisy and Flynn for a full group shot alongside the ensemble.
The outing had an effortlessly coordinated feel. Perry kept things relaxed in a tan sweatsuit and matching cap, while Bloom opted for a camel coat paired with corduroys and sneakers. Flynn went casual in a gray sweatshirt and black jeans, and Daisy stood out in pink pants and a white long-sleeved top, her hair pulled into a ponytail as she cuddled close to her dad and hugged her brother.
In June, Us Weekly confirmed that Perry and Bloom ended their engagement after nearly a decade together. Bloom proposed in 2019, and the pair welcomed Daisy the following year. Since then, both have emphasized a united approach to parenting, a focus they reiterated in a joint statement about prioritizing stability and respect for their daughter.
Bloom later addressed the split during a September appearance on the Today show, reflecting on the transition by saying, “We have the most beautiful daughter.”
Perry has also entered a new chapter. She has been linked to former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau after the two were first spotted together in Montreal in July during a stop on her Lifetimes Tour. By the fall, insiders confirmed the relationship was becoming more serious, with the pair choosing to keep things low-key.
As the year draws to a close, Perry and Trudeau are expected to ring in New Year’s Eve together, while Perry and Bloom continue to demonstrate that—even after a split—family remains front and center.
